About the Programme

FlySafair is offering unemployed South African graduates the opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience through its Graduate Internship Programme. Over a 12-month period, interns will receive mentorship, practical training, and exposure to real-world challenges within the aviation industry.

Available Internship Fields

Internship opportunities are offered in the following areas:

  • Marketing

  • Human Resources & Communications

  • Psychometry

  • Procurement

  • Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental (OHSE)

  • Software Testing

  • Web Design

  • Asset Management

  • Airport Operations

  • Flight Operations

Responsibilities

Interns will be expected to:

  • Maintain detailed records of daily tasks and learning activities

  • Provide administrative and operational support

  • Assist with projects and conduct research as needed

  • Follow company procedures and policies

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams

  • Carry out additional duties as required by the department

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A completed Grade 12 (Matric) certificate

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma or Degree) in the field of application

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Good organisational and analytical skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

  • A professional and service-driven attitude

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
